Tanker 16 was purchased in 1999. This tanker is equipped with 2180 gallons of water, and as a result of a 2005 grant from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, a Darley Davey 9 horsepower pump with a 150 ft hose reel. This allows us to deliver water to brush and grass fires directly from the tank, without the use of an engine. |
